Position Overview

As a Systems Technician at Mercedes-Benz of Brooklands, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and integration of complex systems within our vehicle range. This involves a hands-on role in diagnosing and resolving technical issues, implementing system upgrades, servicing & repairs and contributing to the exceptional standard of the Mercedes-Benz brand.

Primary Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electronic automotive systems and components.
• Perform system updates to ensure vehicles meet current software specifications.
• Use diagnostic equipment to assess system performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with the technical team to develop solutions for complex system problems.
• Document all repair and maintenance work thoroughly within the automotive systems software.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in automotive technology and system integration.

Essential Skills and Expertise

• Demonstrated experience and qualification  in automotive system diagnostics and repair.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and software specific to the automotive industry.
• Solid understanding of vehicle electronic systems and networking.
• Strong problem-solving skills with an aptitude for technical challenges.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
• Valid UK driving license and legal right to work in the UK.
