Ideal Candidate Profile

• Prior experience in an accounts assistant or similar financial role is desirable.
• Other automotive administrative experience roles will also be considered.
• Excellent numerical aptitude with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient using Excel.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, able to handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with team members and external partners.

Key Responsibilities of an Accounts Assistant

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Manage accounts payable and/or receivable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures, providing detailed and insightful reports.
• Maintain and update financial records, ensuring they are current and well-organised.
• Coordinate with other departments to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies.
